Duke was bought a few years ago and is currently owned and loved by our 15 yo working student who has shifted her goals.
Duke is W/T/C with lead changes. He is accomplished in the sport of working equitation, works cattle, and trail rides.
He was driven in his younger years prior to being bought by my working student, but we have never driven him. He is loved by all our youth riders here and has been used in lessons to help students learn W/T/C, working cows and obstacles. He is push button, but not a dead head. Easy to catch, bathe, do vet work on and farrier. He has no vices other than chewing on my hoses, flipping his water trough over every once in a while, and he sings and jumps up and down like a jumping bean when its feeding time (he seriously loves his snacks). He is not a dominant horse, but he isn't low on the totem pole in herd turnout.
Duke does require some low maintenance (we have him in Versa shoes and on continual tummy support with GutX). He thrives in being a ride for the youth and would be excellent for a youth rider or lesson program needing a youth friendly horse. UTD with everything vet and farrier. Asking $13,500.
